User acknowledgements
- Owira Work is a record-keeping and workflow tool, not an employer, transport network, regulator, accountant, lawyer, insurer or government service.
- The user is responsible for verifying important entries, calculations, kilometres, receipts and reports before relying on or submitting them.
- The user will not interact with the app while driving where doing so is unsafe or unlawful and will use manual-entry features only when safely able to do so.
- If Owira Work is opened after other work apps, an earlier start time may be entered manually; Owira Work will not invent GPS history for time before tracking actually began.
- GPS is optional and can fail or be unavailable. Odometer readings, platform statements, receipts and other source records may be needed to verify business activity.
- Tax/GST estimates and business summaries are not professional advice and may not reflect every deduction, adjustment, tax rule or individual circumstance.
- The user is responsible for meeting platform, licensing, insurance, road-safety, employment/contracting, taxation and regulatory obligations that apply to them.
- Receipts, location records and other personal/business information should only be uploaded where the user has the right to store that information.
Safety first: no feature, target, token, reminder, report or subscription benefit is intended to encourage phone interaction while a vehicle is moving.
